Course Overview
Whether you are a student, a manager, a subordinate, or a homemaker, it is almost impossible to avoid being a member of a team. Teams are simply groups of people who are interdependent in the tasks they perform, who affect one another’s behavior through interaction, and who see themselves as a unique entity. The principles we review in this course related to effective team performance, team leadership, team goals, and team participation, however, are virtually the same across all kinds of teams.Objectives
Upon completing the course, you will be able to:- correctly identify a team and realize the values of a team in a workplace
- understand 4 stages of team development, identify the possible problems within each stage and correctly address these issues
- evaluate issues within teams and suggest optimal solutions
- understand, practice, and apply leading team techniques
- understand human differences using OCEAN personality traits
